Service and Repair Contract Terms and
Conditions:
1. An adult over
the age of 18 must be present while technician
is on-site.
2. Computer must be easily accessible
at time of appointment.
3. Customer is responsible to provide
licensed operating system software, and
restore software, if needed to complete
a repair.
4. Parts and software
purchased for repair are subject to their
individual warranty as applied by the
manufacturer.
5. Microsoft Windows®
98 operating systems may require additional
configuration charges.
6. Changes in appointments
should be made at least 24 hours in advance
by calling 336-274-9596.
7. Gate City Geeks reserves
the right to rearrange or cancel appointments
but will make every effort to accommodate
customer's first choice of date and time.
8. Additional charges
apply for required (or optional) parts
and/or hardware and software upgrades
needed to complete the requested service.
9. Parts and software
purchased for repair are subject to their
individual warranty as applied by the
manufacturer.
10. Gate City Geeks guarantees
the workmanship of the requested service
for seven days following the date the
service was performed. Subsequent reconfiguration
or changes and modifications to the computers
or products serviced void the labor warranty.
11. Standard Gate City
Geeks service delivery is considered within
20 miles of the Gate City Geeks location.
Additional charges may apply for travel
beyond the standard service area.
12. Service charges must
be paid at the time of service via Cash,
Company Check, or Credit Card. No returns
on completed repairs.
13. Gate City Geeks
will be held harmless for adverse effects
to customer equipment resulting from the
installation of third party software or
device drivers and hardware belonging
to or purchased by the customer.
